I’m Clay Lillard — an Integrative Health Practitioner (IHP), a husband, and a father of two. Like most men, my role is to provide, lead, and stay steady for the people who depend on me. In today’s fast-paced, high-pressure world, it’s easy to ignore what constant stress, poor recovery, and nonstop responsibility are doing to your body — until things start breaking down.
I came to this work not from theory, but from lived experience. I spent years pushing through low energy, brain fog, gut issues, nagging injuries, and a body that didn’t feel right — even when I was told everything looked “normal.” My testosterone was low, but that wasn’t the real issue. It was a signal that my system had been under more strain than it could handle.
Over time, I learned that most men don’t fall apart all at once — they wear down slowly. Long hours, constant pressure, poor sleep, hard training without recovery, and always being “on” add up. You keep pushing because that’s what men do, until your body starts pushing back. Energy drops. Drive fades. You don’t feel like yourself anymore. That’s not weakness — it’s what happens when the system runs overloaded for too long without support..
IT'S TIME TO HEAL
In my late 20s, the signs started showing up quietly — low energy that never fully lifted, motivation fading, stress I couldn’t recover from, weight that wouldn’t move, gut issues that stuck around, and a steady drop in drive year after year. By my early 30s, it was impossible to ignore. I finally went to the doctor, and the labs came back with a number that stopped me cold: my testosterone was 130.
That number was a wake-up call — but it wasn’t the real problem. It was a warning light. It explained why my energy, confidence, and libido were off, but more importantly, it pointed to something deeper. This wasn’t just “low T.” It was a clear sign that my system had been under chronic strain for too long and was stuck in survival mode — and that it needed to be rebuilt from the ground up.

Like a lot of men looking for answers, I tried the obvious route first — TRT. It gave a short-term bump on paper, but it didn’t fix how I actually felt. The deeper issues were still there. Energy was unstable. Recovery was poor. I knew I was treating a number, not the real problem.
That was the turning point. I stopped chasing symptoms and started asking why my body was shutting things down in the first place. Under long-term stress and depletion, the body shifts into survival mode and pulls resources away from things like testosterone. Low T wasn’t the cause — it was the signal.
What was really driving it were more foundational issues: chronic stress, poor sleep and recovery, gut dysfunction, nutrient depletion, inflammation, and years of running on empty.
Everything changed when I addressed those basics. Using functional lab testing and targeted protocols, I rebuilt the systems that support energy, hormones, and resilience. For the first time in years, I didn’t just feel “better” — I felt steady again. Clear-headed. Present. Like myself.
That shift changed everything for me — not just physically, but in how I thought, how I handled stress, and how I showed up for my family. Once my system stabilized, I could see clearly how many capable, driven men were dealing with the same quiet breakdown — pushing through exhaustion, losing their edge, and assuming low testosterone was the problem instead of the warning sign.
That’s what pulled me into this work.
Today, as an Integrative Health Practitioner, I help men stop chasing symptoms and start fixing what’s actually draining them. My focus isn’t quick fixes or surface-level hacks. It’s rebuilding the foundation — stress load, recovery, gut health, nutrient status, and hormone regulation — so energy, focus, and drive can return naturally.
This work is personal for me. I didn’t arrive here by accident or theory. I rebuilt my own health using Dr. Cabral’s foundational approach, and now I help other men do the same — so they can feel steady again and show up the way their lives require.

“This was the first time someone explained my labs and symptoms through an IHP lens. Instead of quick fixes, we focused on rebuilding the foundation. I feel steadier, more present, and finally back in control.”
Devyn D

As a dad, I thought feeling exhausted and short-tempered was just part of the deal. Clay’s IHP approach helped me understand what burnout was doing to my body and how to fix it from the foundation. As my energy and stress stabilized, I became calmer, more present, and way more patient with my family.”

“I’ll be honest, I didn’t believe any of this natural stuff worked. Clay proved me wrong. The labs showed exactly what was holding me back. Fixing it boosted my energy and drive more than anything my doctor ever did.”
